After watching this movie, I don't think I'll ever be able to babysit at night again! Even though, When a Stranger Calls, is more of a class B movie, I defintatly think that if you want a good scare, you should watch it. For me, this movie was full of suspense, even thought it kind of preditcable. 16 year old Jill is grounded from going to a bonfire with her friends, instead she get's to babysit for a rich family, out in the middle of no where. When she get's to the house the kids are already sleeping, so she's alone till midnight that night. When she starts getting these weird calls from a man that never talks, she starts to get a little creeped out. Is it her boyfriend calling? Her friend? Jill has no clue. The end is preditable like I said before. I think this movie would have been a lot better, if Jill didn't act so stupid about the creep that keeps calling her.

Because of Winn Dixie
No longer is it all about a boy and his dog... In the movie, Because of Winn Dixie based on the book by Kate Dicamillo it is all about a girl and her dog. Bring a box of Kleenex, because this tear jerker will pull on the hear strings of even non- dog lovers. 10 year old Opal Buloni, is new to the small town of Naomi, Florida. Her father got a job as a preacher down there. She has been having a hard time making friends, until one day when she was at the Winn Dixie grocery store. There, was a wild dog on the loose inside the store, and she took the blame, that, that dog was hers. She named the dog Winn Dixie, and from then on they were the best of friends. They encountered troubles together though, which only made them closer. Like Opal say's more then once through out the movie, "Everything good that happened that summer, was because of Winn Dixie." In my opinion this is one of the best directed movies I have seen. The script was great, the actors were great, the lighting was great, everything was just great. One thing that I did notice was that the costumes went just perfect with the movie. A lot of the characters in the movie were poor, and they made sure of showing it through their outfits. I highly recommended this movie to just about anyone.
